Privacy Policy

Sulmo Super Blog ("this site") takes visitors' personal data seriously. This policy explains what data is handled and how.

1. Information collected directly

This site has no sign-up or comment features, so you don't need to enter any personal data to read it. I only receive your email address and message if you contact me by email. They are used only to reply to you and are deleted without delay once your inquiry is resolved, unless the law requires them to be kept, in which case they are kept for that period.

2. Google Analytics 4

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visitor statistics. Using cookies such as those beginning with _ga, Google collects information like the pages you visit, time spent, browser and device details, and your approximate location. I only see this as aggregated statistics and don't use it to identify individual visitors.

If you visit from the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, or Switzerland, or if your country can't be determined, Google Analytics only runs after you accept in the banner. Elsewhere it runs by default. Wherever you are, you can accept or decline at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page, and declining deletes the _ga cookies. You can also opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

3. Google AdSense ads

This site uses, or may use, Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits.

You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendors' personalized advertising cookies at aboutads.info. For more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Consent given in Cookie settings covers Google Analytics only. If this site starts serving personalized ads in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, it will ask for consent to ads separately.

4. How to refuse cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies won't stop you from reading this site.

5. Hosting and browser storage

This site is hosted on Vercel. To provide the service and keep it secure, Vercel may process access logs such as IP addresses and access times. See the Vercel Privacy Notice for details. Your theme setting is stored only in your browser and is never sent to a server.

This site reads the country Vercel estimates from your IP address and your browser's language setting to show the Korean or English pages and to work out whether cookie consent is needed in your region. It doesn't store those values. It does store these cookies so the site can work:

  • NEXT_LOCALE: remembers your choice if you change the language yourself. Kept for one year.
  • cookie_consent: remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies. Kept for six months.
  • consent_exempt: marks that your region isn't subject to the consent banner. Deleted when you close your browser.

6. Third parties and processing abroad

I don't share personal data received through inquiries with third parties unless the law provides a basis for doing so. Information processed by Google and Vercel may be stored or processed on servers outside the Republic of Korea.

7. Your rights and how to reach me

You can request access to, correction or deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal data. Send requests and privacy questions to:

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page.
